CONCEPT

The PLA.I.A. project aims to develop an intelligent model to support companies in achieving sustainability and circularity goals.
By leveraging digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain, the model will help businesses in the furniture, fashion, and industrial automation sectors to optimize resources, plan actions, and monitor progress—facilitating a smoother and more resilient transition toward sustainability.

CONTEXT

Sustainability is a key challenge for Italian industry, which must reduce environmental impact and promote circular practices.
To meet these goals, companies must adopt innovative technologies, optimize resource use, and collaborate effectively.
This approach not only helps mitigate climate change but also creates opportunities for economic growth, international competitiveness, and enhancement of Italy’s industrial heritage.

OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTED RESULTS

The PLA.I.A. project proposes an innovative model to support business transformation towards the circular economy and sustainability.
By integrating AI, IoT, and blockchain, the model provides a proactive and anticipatory approach to transforming business processes.
The project aims to offer a strategic framework for companies that allows them to:

The project operates at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6, with active interest from companies in furniture, fashion, and industrial automation sectors.
